URBSEC Research Conference 2016

On November 15, 2016, URBSEC affiliated researchers as well as partners from the public and private sector will meet at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg to discuss ongoing projects, take part of the Swedish Civil Contingency Agency's (MSB) view on relations to Swedish research milieus in their area of responsibility, and hear a roundtable about a planned new URBSEC Priority Area on smart cities in relation to safety and security issues. An essential focus of the conference is to share experiences from four major URBSEC-facilitated projects. Each project will be represented by a panel consisting of researchers as well as involved representatives from MSB and/or the private sector. Each panel will share experiences from the 'how' of knowledge-production through collaborative forms, with an overarching focus on difficulties and possibilities of making multi-disciplinary research actually happen in practice. There will be space for Q&As in all sessions. Follow the link below to the Conference Program, in which you will also find information about how to register!
